Our last name is actually "Small" so Small Bees, just means the bees owned by our family, but Small Bees are the best bees! We should not be confused with "small bees" located in India (Tetragonula iridipennis) (Dammer or stingless bee).

We are located in the Cambell/Los Gatos/Saratoga area but we have apiaries all over Santa Clara county.

We only sell wildflower honey because we are so local. In order to get other flavored honey, you must have your bees in a greenhouse or a field that has prominently that flower.

Our honey is not certified organic. Because bees can travel a 3-mile radius from their hive, the property surrounding the hive must be organic (certified and soil tested) in order to be considered organic. Since our hives are based in residential areas, being organic is an impossible task for us.

Yes, you can place the order in our on-line store and pick it up at the market. When you are at the check out page, type "FMPICKUP" in the coupon area, then in comments type in the date and farmers' market you plan on picking up at. Be sure to bring ID to pick up your order.
